Technical Advisor
ORGANIZATION: Elite International Law Firm

LOCATION: New York, NY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate the flow of information between inventors, experts, attorneys and clients
- Assist attorneys in development technical arguments
- Present scientific and technical dara to those without scientific backgrounds
- Assist in all aspects of the investigation of each case assigned
- Assist the attorneys during document review
- Assist attorneys with witness preparation and attend depositions when necessary
- Develop and provide guidance in presenting technical arguments and preparing demonstrative exhibits prior to and during trials
- Review reports, pleadings and answer questions clearly and succinctly regarding the scientific contents
- Must be able to perform a scientific citation check of legal pleadings and other documents
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others
- Comply with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field
- 4+ years of related experience within a role in electrical engineering or computer science preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Ability to analyze specialized data and documents from the perspective of field of study
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows 10)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Demonstrates close attention to detail
