Marketing & Communications Coordinator

LOCATION: New York, NY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with seminar preparation, planning and execution and organize and support other firm events as needed
  • Research, maintain and track practice, attorney and deal information needed to respond to respond to various directories and surveys
  • Design and manage email and web communication assets for firm events
  • Contribute to the awareness of the firm’s internet presence, overseeing External Websites, Firm Blogs and Social networking sites
  • Manage attorney biographies including maintaining biographies on website and preparing and updating biographies for various publications featuring lawyers and law firms
  • Create and maintain firm profile and practice area descriptions including on firm website
  • Assist with creation and preparation of materials for attorney speaking engagements, track attorney speaking engagements
  • Assist with assembling prospective client materials
  • Assist with monitoring and compiling media sweeps on various topics and companies
  • Interface with partners on a regular basis to collaborate and assist with their business development needs
  • Effectively collaborate across departments to meet firm’s business goals and initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 0-3 years of marketing communications experience; law firm or corporate communications highly desired
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Extremely intelligent, professional and articulate
  • Thrives in demanding, fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility to work overtime and respond to email when out of the office
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
