Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney

SUMMARY: The M&A Attorney will have excellent credentials and possess 3-6 years of experience working on diligence and drafting ancillary agreements as well as familiarity with all other aspects of a transaction, including experience drafting primary deal documents and interfacing with the client. This role will be joining a busy M&A practice, focusing on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and joint ventures, private equity funds, and financial institutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD required
- Admitted to practice in NY and/or CA
- Must have a min of 3 years’ experience in M&A
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively and diplomatically
- Ability to remain calm and function under pressure in a constantly changing environment with highly confidential information
- Ability to collaborate with all levels and multiple departments
- Detail oriented with strong day-to-day organizational skills
- Ability to be proactive, prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
