Revenue Coordinator

Location: New York, NY 

The Organization: Elite International Law Firm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform client billing and collection activities for assigned clients
  • Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivable, unapplied funds and collection efforts
  • Meet with management to discuss monthly billing, outstanding invoices and strategy for collections
  • Handle complex billing and client driven requests
  • Prepare billing packages for each assigned partner
  • Generate Proformas for assigned Partners
  • Review Proformas for misallocated time 
  • Edit and draft invoices based on partners’ mark-up
  • Generate billing variance reports and write-off reports
  • Prepare electronic invoices
  • Verify client specific rate accommodations
  • Pull back-up of costs to include with final invoices
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with e-billing site vendors
  • Track status of bills submitted
  • Monitor payment of assigned clients’ accounts receivable and coordinate collection efforts
  • Provide assistance to partners and clients regarding outstanding and short paid invoices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required
  • 1-2 years of relevant billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Office (Word and Excel)
  • Familiarity with electronic billing systems
  • Elite 3E is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities, while handling sensitive matters and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while under pressure in a fast-paced environment
