SUMMARY: The Capital Markets Attorney will have excellent credentials and possess 3-5 years of experience working on liability management transactions, secured and unsecured debt financing, special situations, distressed M&A, and debt restructuring. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a growing and collaborative team involving the Firm’s Debt Finance and Bankruptcy and Restructuring practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD required
- Admitted to practice in NY State
- Must have a min of 3 years’ experience in liability management transactions, secured and unsecured debt financing, special situations and debt restructuring
- Experience in exchange and consent offers, backstop arrangements, rights offerings and exit financings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively and diplomatically
- Ability to remain calm and function under pressure in a constantly changing environment with highly confidential information
- Ability to collaborate with all levels and multiple departments
- Detail oriented with strong day-to-day organizational skills
- Ability to be proactive, prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
