MANAGER OF SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

Location: New York, NY (3 days in office)

Summary: Elite NYC law firm is hiring for a Manager of Systems Engineering. The Manager will oversee a team of around 5 IT infrastructure professionals and help the firm with delivering world-class operations in technical innovation

Compensation: Base salary to $225K depending on experience, competitive bonus and comprehensive benefits (including, medical, dental, vision and 401K). Exceptional work environment ideal to all and transportation in one of New York's most recognized addresses.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Azure server and network setup that powers the 3E Finance ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with financial system analysts and DBAs to enhance the entire financial system's stability and performance.

  • Partner with the Finance and Marketing departments to design and implement system improvements as needed.

  • Collaborate and communicate with the IT teams to identify and resolve issues

  • Provide tier 3 support for  internal escalations involving the Finance and/or Marketing platforms (OS, software, and/or hardware)

  • Examine current processes, procedures, and technology and make recommendations for streamlining and optimizing the environment.

  • Create and update documentation as needed.

  • Assist with other projects/tasks when needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in computer science or information technology

  • 5+ years experience managing a large team of IT infrastructure professionals with Windows server operating system and with Azure 

  • 3+ years managing SaaS products/vendors

  • Strong knowledge of PC systems (desktop and laptop), as well as wireless devices and printer hardware

  • Previous experience with Active Directory, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, SQL database, and PowerBi

  • Strong knowledge of multi-tier Windows Server Applications, Azure IaaS

  • Knowledge of remote help desk support experience (RDP, VPN, Citrix, etc.)

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and diplomatic personality
