Client Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Analyze documentation and data to create and manage database records
- Join data from various sources, interpret findings and summarize findings
- Monitor and analyze performance of individual matters and portfolios
- Leverage precedent and historical data to problem solve and support decision making
- Prepare fee proposals based on the nature of services and type of fee arrangement
- Compile and analyze historical data
- Recommend optimal fee structures to offer services profitably
- Comprehend and respond to inquiries related to alternative fee agreements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
- 3+ years of related experience in law firm/professional services billing or collections
- Familiarity with Aderant is a plus
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Strong Excel background and experience with relational databases
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently with a great group of co-workers.
- Ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced and upbeat department that is known for excellence
