OVERVIEW: Seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Operations Manager. Will support firm-wide Business Operations and work closely with Administrative Support Management team. Objective to oversee goals and identify areas for improvement within business services. The right candidate must feel equipped to analyze performance metrics and design processes for firm-wide cohesion, deliverables and success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess, assign, manage, train, evaluate and schedule staff in Legal Assistant and Secretarial departments
  • Oversee operations by providing internal and external stakeholders “white-glove” customer service
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver that is comfortable engaging with a cross-functional team
  • Consult with attorneys and devise devise departmental assessment plans
  • Hire and manage business operations staff
  • A business operations advocate firm-wide
  • Engage with key leadership to educate on business operations support opportunities firm-wide
  • Manage resources to meet firm needs
  • Develop and distribute surveys and feedback tools to ensure services and performance are exceeding expectations
  • Report complaints and ensure positive feedback is reinforced department-wide
  • Create policy and procedures to ensure excellence throughout the business operations group
  • Represent the business operations team in firm-wide meetings. A leader in communicating needs, successes and areas of improvement
  • Work with Human Resources on recruitment for positions within relevant departments
  • Engage with legal administrative support and leadership for hiring, training and general human capital management
  • Oversee annual performance evaluations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant administrative management and supervisory experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to manage confidential information with utmost discretion
  • Project Management experience
