POSITION: Senior Vendor Risk and Compliance Manager

LOCATION: Chicago, IL

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and lead change management efforts 
  • Implement enhancements to the Firm’s VRM policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Implement and maintain the vendor risk tracking and management application
  • Collaborate and partner across departments including security governance, risk management and vendor contracting teams
  • Build strong relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
  • Facilitate the escalation procedures
  • Create training and educational materials
  • Perform training sessions during program deployment
  • Manage the vendor relationship and performance monitoring process and tools
  • Ensure vendors are in compliance with the Firm’s VRM program and reporting requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Information Science, Business or related field
  • 7+ years of vendor risk management or procurement experience
  • Experience with financial and legal elements of complex vendor contracts
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in vendor selection, contract negotiations, reducing vendor risk and ensuring vendor service delivery
  • Able to integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams and workstreams in order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risk, and solve problems
  • Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills
  • Sharp attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products
  • Exercise discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • Possess highly developed organization, writing, analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
