POSITION: Attorney Development Coordinator

LOCATION: Palo Alto, CA

SUMMARY: A large U.S. Law Firm is seeking an Attorney Development Coordinator to serve as an integral member to the Attorney Development Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires and integration into the firm 
  • Participate in staffing efforts to ensure attorneys are fully utilized and properly leveraging firm resources
  • Manage and maintain the Firm’s Pro Bono program for various offices
  • Coordinate the attorney performance review process 
  • Ensure attorney satisfaction through the Firm Mentoring Program and by making training tools readily available for career support
  • Compile statistical data and help with monthly and quarterly reports, as well as numerous data requests.
  • Plan special events including orientation, training programs, retreats, Attorney dinners, and monthly events, and other socials 
  • Support Senior Managers with leave administration
  • Coordinate and administer the semi-annual Attorney Review process
  • Track all logistics of attorneys’ continued legal education 
  • Schedule and communicate all aspects of onboarding and training programs
  • Organize curriculum materials and ensure availability and disbursement to key stakeholders
  • Administer surveys and evaluation for training programs
  • Deploy attorney training and development programs as assigned
  • Partner with members of Professional Development and Leadership Team where necessary to manage the continuous improvement of Attorney Training and Development Programs
  • Coordinate programs and trainings for multiple practice areas

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in a recruiting or professional development role in a professional services corporation
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including strong Excel skills is required
