Business Development & Marketing Coordinator

LOCATION: New York, NY (Remote – Hybrid)

SUMMARY: Top-ranked law firm is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to support the firm's Business Development & Marketing team. The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of tasks such as: research, internal and external communications, scheduling meetings, booking events, data entry and responding to requests quickly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Development: Responsible for creating and maintaining presentations, pitch materials, and RFP responses
  • Client Service: Communicate across multiple levels of the firm and organize projects start to finish
  • Marketing: Assist with applicable development, creation, and presentation of marketing initiatives as it pertains to the firm’s business development efforts 
  • Research: Utilize firm tools to investigate market trends and activity in the industry; identify new business opportunities and compile applicable competitive intelligence information
  • Communications (Internal & External): Develop biographies, PowerPoints, and website descriptions pertaining to firm stakeholders and key employees; contribute toward print and digital marketing efforts; assist with specific client communications for distribution lists
  • Events, Conferences & Tracking: Coordinate with applicable vendors; track and maintain event attendance; Maintain organization of requests such as ads, calendar invites, payments and more; express and maintain the guidelines and allowances of the budget policy; set up and coordinate events
  • Social Media: Create website postings, news clips, current event posts, and more through firm channels 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2- 4 years of experience in marketing; legal field or professional services preferred 
  • Willingness to go above and beyond
  • Microsoft Office familiarity, including Excel and Word; with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience utilizing a CRM and legal related software preferred
  • History of taking initiative is a desirable quality 
  • Strong customer service and adaptability skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing
