IT Training Coordinator 

ORGANIZATION: Highly Ranked Law Firm

LOCATION: New York, NY (Hybrid – Remote)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the new hire groups with utilization of their assigned hardware
  • Maintain the calendar and scheduling of the firm’s training initiatives
  • Train end-users in the use of legal technology applications
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users
  • Coordinate with other offices regarding legal technology training plans (e.g., HR and Legal Personnel departments)
  • Assist with IT manager needs as it pertains to answering phones, shipping equipment, managing hardware returns, expense reports and logging IT time and attendance as needed
  • Manage and track Help Desk tickets assigned for various functions and tasks
  • Develop Firm-wide training plans for new technology software
  • Provide group or individual training sessions to attorneys and support staff (domestic and international offices)
  • Provide case-specific training
  • Create and maintain training materials, best practice guides and documentation
  • Design, create and maintain training modules and demos
  • Resolve, monitor and track situations and issues to resolution, to the satisfaction of users, requiring accurate problem identification and diagnosis
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
  • Assist with the training of staff
  • Assist with quality assurance testing
  • Assist with loading data to Legal Technology databases as instructed
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others
  • Comply with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of related work experience in a corporate law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong interest in training, presenting, LMS management, and an inclination towards technology is desirable 
  • Ability to answer basic End User Support questions
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows 10)
  • Familiarity with Cisco Webex is a plus
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
