Director of IT Operations
COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $250K, commensurate with experience, plus Bonus, Paid Time Off, 401K, Medical Dental & Vision Coverage, Life and AD&D Insurance, Retirement Plans, and more!

THE ORGANIZATION: Top-Ranked Law Firm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the CIO to determine IT operational networking needs of the firm
- Design, implement and maintain the organization and structure of the firm’s local and wide area networks
- Oversee the procurement process for file servers, software, switches and routers
- Communicate networking requirements to firm personnel
- Ensure detailed network documentation, service manuals and training materials
- Lead software implementations and upgrades
- Provide support to end users
- Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses
- Train IT support staff
- Assist with the development of IT related policies and procedures
- Manage and oversee the workflow of IT staff
- Hold regular staff meetings to discuss operational issues and solutions
- Provide guidance and training to staff members
- Act as senior lead on the ground for issue escalation and resolution
- Work with Service Delivery Team, with direction from CIO, in coordinated fashion to set the agenda for and lead the local office Advisory Group meetings; tracks and reports on feedback from those meetings to make continuous improvements and help IT better implement business solutions that work optimally
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Management or related field required
- 5+ years of IT or Network Management experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco routers, switches and firewall products
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, HP Servers, Windows Server QS, VMware ESXi 5.0, Exchange 2010, NetApp Storage Area Networks and Group policy management
- Working understanding of VPN, QoS and IP routing concepts
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
