HRIS Assistant (Workday)

Summary: The HRIS Assistant provides support to the HR Department leadership, HRIS technology group and employees firmwide. This role requires maintenance of templates, training documents, data entry and Workday HRIS system support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within Human Resources as an assistant providing system testing, implementation and release support. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and project support for the HRIS team, including maintaining all HRIS records and files
  • Ensure greater HR team feels comfortable using HRIS system for updating new hire information, changing payroll & benefits and / or performing additional HR tasks
  • Audit employee initiated changes in system for accuracy; troubleshoot basic user system questions
  • Liaise between HRIS system architects, HR and employees during Workday implementation process
  • Provide regularly status updates; review transaction results; assess system performance & accuracy
  • Serve as the point of contact for system usage, access, testing and escalation requests 
  • Provide administrative support for testing during each Workday release phase; provide updates on priorities, changes in documentation, enhancement processes and key issues to address 
  • Regular communicate with HRIS Manager and firmwide senior leadership 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1+ years of HRIS administrative assistance experience 
  • Previous industry experience with Workday
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities, while handling sensitive matters and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
