Business Development Specialist (multiple positions – litigation and corporate)

Summary: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to provide business development support to specific practice groups, individual partners and business development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Business Development Manager with levent pre-planning and production
- Evaluate the quality of various events and organizations
- Pitch support and material updates
- Manage and maintain a database of current and prospective clients, referrals, marketing and sales initiatives
- Provide support to partners in the management of their contact networks
- Draft introductions, gratitude letters, reminders and confirmations
- Act as a resource for the partners to help them achieve their networking goals
- Coordinate with various internal and external groups of people to schedule business development meetings and activities
- Prepare research and marketing materials for meetings with prospective clients
- Assist in responding to proposal opportunities
- Assist in completing post mortems on pitches
- Oversee data entry to CRM database
- Manage and maintain updates to marketing client lists, templates and database
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or JD preferred
- 5+ years of business development experience in a global law firm environment
- Experience with account management and/or customer relationship management
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency is required
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM
- Data entry proficiency
