OVERVIEW: Top law firm is seeking a highly motivated and engaging Senior Practice Manager to support the growth of the firm’s thriving practice groups. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Partner with the practice group’s leaders to assess needs and evaluate implementation of overall strategic plans
  • Devise practice group strategy and attend strategic meetings, identifying opportunities for cross-marketing and putting plans into place to carry out
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies and identify business development opportunities 
  • Prepare key presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Engage with key external stakeholders for research, conference or thought leadership engagement opportunities
  • Monitor sources for potential sponsorships and execute a marketing budget 
  • Guide the sales material messaging by partnering with the other practice group’s business development efforts to ensure sales materials, pitches and proposals are aligned with the Firm’s core goals and practices
  • Assess practice group strengths and research clients, competitors, industry and market trends to aid in BD initiatives
  • Collaborate with Media Relations and Communications team for to create and edit marketing collateral
  • Assist with creation and presentation of print and digital marketing materials through various channels 
  • Support event planning logistic and execution
  • Prepare financial reports and various logistics for practice group operations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years working in professional services; BD/marketing experience desired
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated experience managing processes and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates good judgment in communication  
  • Works well under pressure and in a collaborative environment
  • Effective researcher with great attention to detail in legal proofreading and editing
