Professional Development Coordinator
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Downtown)

Summary: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking an Professional Development Coordinator to serve as an integral member of the Legal Recruiting & Professional Development Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and execute attorney orientation and professional development training (both in person and remotely via Zoom and other online platforms)
- Oversee the fall and lateral associate integration processes for the Los Angeles office
- Track all logistics of events and collect feedback after events; update training materials on internal firm website
- Schedule and communicate all aspects of scheduling training programs; work with team to improve information disbursement across the firm ecosystem
- Organize curriculum materials and ensure availability and disbursement to key stakeholders
- Serve as the primary contact for California MCLE questions for attorneys and staff
- Administer surveys and evaluation for training programs
- Deploy attorney training and development programs as assigned
- Partner with members of Professional Development and Leadership Team where necessary to manage the continuous improvement of Attorney Training and Development Programs
- Research, plan and attend attorney social functions
- Prepare and distribute monthly bar status reports
- Stay up to date with any California State Bar Minimum Continuing Legal Education updates
- Serve as training program and event support for all sessions as needed
- Participate in individual goal setting and annual review process
- Coordinate programs and trainings for multiple practice areas
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2+ years of related experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency is required
