Manager, Legal Talent
LOCATION: New York, NY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct support to the Chief and Director of the Legal Personnel department
- Manage and coordinate associate evaluations
- Assist the Legal Talent Team with ensuring robust feedback is provided to each associate
- Assist with intake of verbal evaluations
- Maintain review database
- Assist in other performance management initiatives
- Provide interim staffing support
- Enhance the firm’s core legal personnel processes
- Oversee the maintenance and updates of the Legal Policy Handbook
- Assist with planning practice group and other events
- Participate in exit interviews for departing associates
- Oversee departmental budget and expenditures
- Serve as a resource to attorneys
- Conduct orientation programs to introduce new employees to the Firm's policies, procedures and benefits
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of related experience in legal personnel or human resources
- SHRM and/or coaching certification preferred
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint and other legal personnel and recruiting software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail; the ability to deal discreetly with confidential information
