Human Resources Assistant / Coordinator (Multiple positions available)
Location: New York, NY
Organization: Large Multinational U.S. Based Law Firm

Responsibilities:
- Conduct full cycle recruitment effort for client groups for nonexempt, and temporary employees
- Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates
- Co-Manage Summer Internship Program
- Point of contact for assigned client groups professional staff employees to help resolve human resources questions or concerns by providing relevant, helpful and accurate information
- Conduct new-employee orientation sessions and exit interviews
- Assist with employee relations issues
- Work closely with management to ensure focus is on developing identified talent and ensure employees are being rewarded appropriately during year-end compensation process
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations related to employment issues
- Partner with HR team and various departments on ad hoc projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1+ years of recruiting and related HR experience in a professional services firm
- Excellent interpersonal, client service, and written and verbal communication skills
- Exercises good judgment has excellent organization skills, and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize numerous responsibilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proactive team player
- Ability to interface with the senior-most management
- Must be proficient with MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in Workday and iCIMS a plus
