POSITION: Business Immigration Paralegal

COMPENSATION: Base salary depending on years of experience, paid overtime, bonus, Medical, Dental and Vision Options, 401K, Short and Long Term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Vacation, Sick and Personal Days
HOURS: 9:00am – 5:00pm
LOCATION: Miami, Florida | Boca Raton, Florida
SUMMARY: A well-established law firm with over 800 attorneys is looking for an eager, meticulous and dedicated business immigration paralegal who is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extensive experience working on PERMs (ETA-9089)
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues
- Perform intake and assist with review and management of files
- Calendar and track all submissions, timelines, due dates and application/visa lifecycles
- Track and record applicants and prepare recruitment reports in compliance with current U.S. Department of Labor standards
- Prepare and submit immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions (H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, I-140, I-485)
- Prepare and submit Adjustment of Status applications as needed
- Maintain all supporting documentation for PERM Audit and RFE responses
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 2+ years of business/corporate immigration paralegal experience
- Experience using LawLogix software, or comparable
- Demonstrated experience with entering and maintain accurate and up-to-date case file information within a centralized database management system
- Highly organized with exceptional follow up skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients on a daily basis
