WORK ARRANGEMENT: Hybrid 

LOCATION: Silicon Valley | San Francisco | New York | Boston | Washington, D.C. | Seattle | Santa Monica 

BENEFITS:
Competitive base salary: $85,000 – $133,750 annually, based on experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently manage a high-volume trademark docket while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all deadlines.
  • Prepare, review, and file domestic and international trademark applications, renewals, maintenance filings, assignments, and related intellectual property documentation.
  • Coordinate with domestic and international counsel regarding trademark prosecution, filings, correspondence, and portfolio management.
  • Conduct trademark clearance searches, online investigations, and preliminary research to support trademark strategy.
  • Monitor application status, prosecution activity, and official correspondence while maintaining accurate docket records.
  • Prepare reports, client communications, filing documentation, and supporting materials for attorneys and stakeholders.
  • Assist with trademark enforcement matters, ownership updates, recordations, and portfolio maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to support ongoing client matters and strategic intellectual property initiatives.
  • Maintain organized electronic records and ensure compliance with filing requirements and applicable procedures.
  • Prioritize multiple assignments while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, foreign associates, and internal business partners.
  • Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of trademark paralegal experience supporting domestic and international trademark matters.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing trademark portfolios and maintaining docket deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of trademark prosecution processes and intellectual property filing procedures.
  • Experience coordinating with international counsel and external service providers preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and business partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and legal docketing or case management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
