SUMMARY: The Tech Transactions Practice Support Attorney will help facilitate and lead practice group content creation and standardization processes. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of Tech Transactions (specifically within IP) and have a passion for working across practice groups to deliver excellent client service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and implement initiatives and strategies as aligned with firm business goals and practices

  • Facilitate the creation, development and oversight of practice group documents, templates, and resource presentations

  • Track, maintain and analyze key precedent and template documents, ensuring easy access and recovery of those documents by practice group attorneys

  • Research and analyze market trends and client needs

  • Collaborate with the firm’s senior management to evaluate, innovate and adapt the Tech Transactions practice group’s processes and initiatives 

  • Design and develop business and marketing strategies and materials

  • Provide and prepare extensive reporting, analysis, and presentation of data

  • Share resources, contacts and best practices with Recruiting, HR and Business Development teams

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s and JD degree required

  • 5+ years experience of tech transactions experience; law firm IP/tech experience preferred

  • Expert level knowledge and legal expertise of tech transactions

  • Excellent legal research, writing, drafting and analysis skills

  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to remain calm and diplomatic in a high-pressure, deadline driven environment

  • Phenomenal oral and written communication skills

  • Able to build professional relationships and to work with individuals at all seniority levels and among various practice groups

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to balance short and long term priorities and goals

  • Team-oriented and willing to work on other projects as needed
