Technology Trainer (Remote – Hybrid)

LOCATION: New York, NY | Washington, DC

COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $115K, plus generous paid bonus and comprehensive benefits (including, medical, dental, vision and 401K). Exceptional work environment ideal to all transportation in one of New York's most recognized addresses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver technical training to new and returning legal and professional staff
  • Ensure that all staff are acclimating to the firm’s systems
  • Deliver ongoing technical instruction to firm personnel in the use of software applications
  • Follow up on calls escalated to other departments
  • Maintain a library of updated and actionable learning content
  • Assist in developing and maintaining training materials
  • Work closely with the Service Desk team to continuously improve the quality of technical training
  • Collaborate with the Practice Development and the Learning and Development teams to conduct ongoing needs assessments
  • Collaborate with HR to provide remedial technical trainings
  • Develop strategies to apply software features to specific individual and work group challenges
  • Conduct floor support exercise to provide ad-hoc desk-side training and coaching
  • Lead Trainer role on global rollouts

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years of learning/development/training experience in a medium-to-large professional services organization
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in major productivity suites, including email, word processing, spreadsheet, data analysis and document management software
  • Able to quickly learn new software, such as Best Authority or Litera Numbering
  • Strong knowledge of PC systems and MAC systems (desktop and laptop), as well as wireless devices and printer hardware
  • Flexible to deliver training during and outside of the firm’s core business hours, as needed
  • Flexible to travel domestically and internationally as needed
