Technical Integration Quality Assurance Specialist 

Location: White Plains, New York (Fully Remote)

Summary: Seeking a Technical Integration Quality Assurance Specialist to support a busy Network Systems Department. Candidates must be willing to work independently in a fast-paced, corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position will report to the Technical Integration Quality Assurance Supervisor
  • Responsible for overall end-user support as it relates to application success and effectiveness
  • Conduct various measures to insure application quality is efficient: manual functional, regression, integration and system testing
  • Manage the documentation of test results and the reporting procedures of this information
  • Create and maintain test plans focused on enhancing application usability 
  • Gauge usefulness of various Firm-wide systems to determine if program integration is successful amongst desktop applications; primarily Microsoft Office Suite
  • Collect any defects found to the developers and application managers for correction verification 
  • Ensure reliability of new and existing products to maintain positive functionality with zero defects
  • Assist with issues referred by the Technical Support team through troubleshooting and investigation of customer technical concerns
  • Responsible for testing new hardware and software to guarantee smooth implementation
  • Offer insight on product design, functional requirements, schedules and potential problems during review sessions
  • Highlight recommendations and feedback to developers/vendors on software effectiveness
  • Ensure technical accuracy and compliance through the development of new software documentation procedures
  • Work collaboratively with a team with effective communication skills; written and verbal

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of business computing experience
  • Showcase solid critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows 10
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Rudimentary understanding of testing methodologies and processes 
  • Comfortable working with software architecture within a development workflow
  • Ability to accurately document and report results
  • Capacity to work successfully on a team as well as independently
  • Organize and prioritize work while under pressure in a fast-paced environment effectively
  • Possess the necessary discretion to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
