Talent Development Specialist 

Large U.S. Multinational Corporation

HOURS: 9:30am – 5:30pm
LOCATION: New York, NY

SUMMARY: The Talent Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting Professional Staff in all initiatives related to Talent, Performance and Compensation. This role will work closely with the Director and Sr. Analyst of the Talent Management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the design and evolution of the Talent Management and Compensation strategy
  • Serve as a key contact to HR and business partners in the roll-out of new processes
  • Support Talent Management projects
  • Develop tools and resources to support the change management effort and engaging with clients
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects as necessary
  • Create Executive-level presentations
  • Provide support during the year-end process
  • Assist with the compensation benchmarking survey process
  • Review and reconcile reports
  • Develop resources for managers and employees related to Talent Management and Compensation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in an HRBP, Talent and Development, Compensation or related HR capacity required
  • Proficient experience with Data Analytics
  • Advanced Excel skills including, but not limited to, Macros, Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Index Match, etc.
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High levels of personal organizational, planning and management skills
  • Takes initiative in developing and executing creative events within tight deadlines
  • Able to maintain high level of consciousness and sensitivity to employee needs
  • Evidence of own continual professional development and a willingness to undertake further training as required to fulfill the changing needs of the firm
