Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Washington, D.C.

Summary: Top-ranked multinational law firm near Capitol Hill is seeking a Systems Supervisor to serve as an integral member of the Firmwide IT Department to liaison and support the Technology Services and the Finance & Marketing departments and their respective applications systems. This role will manage the Azure infrastructure that supports the firm's Finance ecosystem, as well as the numerous SaaS apps that make up the firm's Marketing technology stack.

Compensation: Base salary to $175,000, competitive bonus and comprehensive benefits (including, medical, dental, vision and 401K). Exceptional work environment ideal to all and transportation in one of New York's most recognized addresses.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Azure server and network setup that powers the 3E Finance ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with financial system analysts and DBAs to enhance the entire financial system's stability and performance.
  • Partner with the Finance and Marketing departments to design and implement system improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the IT teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Provide tier 3 support for  internal escalations involving the Finance and/or Marketing platforms (OS, software, and/or hardware)
  • Examine current processes, procedures, and technology and make recommendations for streamlining and optimizing the environment.
  • Create and update documentation as needed.
  • Assist with other projects/tasks when needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years experience managing Windows server operating system and with Azure 
  • 3+ years managing SaaS products/vendors
  • Strong knowledge of PC systems (desktop and laptop), as well as wireless devices and printer hardware
  • Previous experience with Active Directory, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, SQL database, and PowerBi
  • Strong knowledge of multi-tier Windows Server Applications, Azure IaaS
  • Knowledge of remote help desk support experience (RDP, VPN, Citrix, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
