Senior Marketing Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing and communication goals and strategies in the Palo Alto office
- Draft and produce new business pitches, proposals and responses to RFPs
- Ensure all pitches and marketing materials are consistent, up-to-date and reflect the Firm’s values
- Provide tactical support and execution with individualized attorney plans
- Support cross sell and industry segment groups
- Assist with the production of Chambers and other award and survey submissions
- Execute research requests from attorneys in the Palo Alto office
- Monitor clients, targets, current events and significant rulings
- Assist with and attend client facing events
- Identify speaking, writing and other profile raising opportunities for partners and counsel
- Assist with the office practice area descriptions for the Firm’s website
- Prepare and update partner, counsel and associate biographies
- Assist with creating templates for reporting
- Research, develop and manage on-point visibility opportunities (client engagement, sponsorship opportunities and seminars)
- Maintain data in the Firm’s CRM database
- Conduct online and database research
- Prepare intelligence reports on clients, qualified prospects, competitors and industries of interest
- Promote firm brand internally and externally through intranet site and external social media initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of relevant marketing, communications or business development experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Experience with CRM/database software, such as: InterAction, Salesforce, ContentPilot, InDesign, etc.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Excellent client service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to synthesize data in a concise and accurate manner
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
