Senior Manager of Procurement

Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Procurement Manager in a top law firm's thriving Procurement team. The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, analytical skills, procurement, and contract management on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements:
- A strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leadership with significant sourcing responsibility; provide oversight of all high-dollar value and/or complex purchases
- Streamline all firm processes related to the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services; oversee vendor relationships
- Oversee procurement systems, drive compliance with policies and regulations, champion procurement integrity.
- Partner with the General Counsel’s Office to ensure that all supplier contracts and agreements comply with legal standards
- Develop and administer competitive proposals to assist internal clients in supplier selection; ensure selection is fair and defensible; negotiate appropriate agreements with suppliers balancing commercial, relationship and risk considerations
- Assist stakeholders with management of established supplier relationships to ensure service levels and compliance goals are met
- Lead process for continual vendor management, including improving on-boarding and vendor performance review, budget goals, spend tracking, opportunity identification. Ensure active support of firm ESG and DE&I goals through supplier management.
- Work with various internal stakeholders including Operations, Risk Management and IT to operationalize a process for continual review of contractual, data and risk management practices of key firm vendors
- Provide support to team on workload balancing, performance feedback and training; ensure both short-term and long-term goals get appropriate attention
- Manage department budget
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Procurement experience (with 3+ years of management)
- Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation skills
- Analytical Skills for strategic decision-making
- Procurement and Contract Management experience
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Certifications in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus
