Summary: As a Senior Coordinator, this role will provide day-to-day support to the firm’s Office of the General Counsel. Work closely with the General Counsel and the Assistant General Counsel to maintain the right practices and protocols as related to the firm’s policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive level support to the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel
- Function with autonomy and work on special projects to meet the Office of the General Counsel’s priorities and additional inter-departmental projects as requested. Ensure timely follow up of matters that are highly confidential and require discretion
- Interface and establish an ongoing positive relationship with the General Counsel and the Assistant General Counsel
- Help identify and coordinate the General Counsel’s "day to day" agenda and identify metrics to measure progress and success
- Draft and proofread highly confidential correspondence as well as legal and non-legal documents
- Leverage General Counsel’s time, attend meetings and calls on the behalf of the Office of the General Counsel; serve as an ex officio member of the World Leading Team; attend Administrative Leadership – Operations meetings; serve as ex officio member of other Committees as assigned
- Develop and maintain annual calendar for the Office of General Counsel
- Oversee the production of communications prepared on behalf of the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
- 5+ years of related experience in HR, data analytics, process design, and/or project management
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- Track record of developing effective partnerships across disparate groups to organize and facilitate decisions and ensure successful implementation
- Independent self-starter; effective, versatile and action-oriented communicator
- Superb judgment, sound reason and unquestioned integrity
- Ability to remain calm and function under pressure in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, dispassionately and diplomatically
- Ability to commit to discretion
- Possess strong analytical and organizational skills
