SUMMARY: The Senior Content Manager will report directly to the firm’s Director of Communications and Market Development and act as a key contributor to the firm’s content marketing and corporate storytelling. The ideal candidate will bring years of experience managing content/communications teams, sourcing freelancers, and creating attractive and cohesive marketing materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement long-term marketing and content strategy to grow various marketing channels including the website, email, social media, thought leadership, and SEO

  • Evolve the brand’s visibility and engagement through innovative digital and visual marketing/content development

  • Work alongside the marketing team to understand sales and marketing goals and develop plans to reach the business strategic objectives

  • Execute an ambitious test-and-learn marketing strategy across  digital channels

  • Report on key marketing analytics to guide insights and recommendations for expanding the brands reach

  • Analyze industry trends and industry best practices; manage the marketing team’s budget

  • Engage with key external stakeholders for research, conference or thought leadership engagement

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors is required (Marketing, Business Communications, Strategic Design, or Communications)

  • 10+ years of marketing and content/communications experience (including SEO/SEM, digital advertising, email/social media marketing, content design & implementation, and reporting analytics

  • Experience managing a marketing/communications team in a professional services environment (preferably legal)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office, CRM, and marketing automation systems (Drupal or Pardot)

  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, and PowerPoint

  • Strong research, reporting and data analysis skills 

  • High comfortability with executing digital marketing campaigns and analytics in unison with overall marketing strategy

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Experience managing and sourcing project freelancers
