LOCATION: Washington, DC | New York, NY

OVERVIEW: Stable and reputable Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated RFP Manager to oversee the RFP process and automations. This role will act as the project manager for the majority of RFPs and collaborate closely with the firm’s Business Development team. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead and manage the preparation of proposals and RFP responses
  • Organize and lead proposal kickoff and progress meetings
  • Manage the proposal process lifecycle
  • Work closely with partners and client teams to develop pitch strategy, conduct rehearsals and prepare presentation materials
  • Coordinate the preparation of smaller pitches and capability statements
  • Support high-value panel proposals
  • Develop and maintain the firms’ proposals technology
  • Track and report on RFP activity, pitch volumes and success rates
  • Maintain accurate records in the firm’s pitch tracking system
  • Manage and help to develop proposal infrastructure
  • Ensure consistency in proposal strategy and execution
  • Train members of the business development team on the RFP tools and process

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant proposal development experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Ability to lead pitches and RFP responses 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM/KM applications
  • Prior working experience with the PERSUIT platform is highly desirable
  • Familiarity and experience with RFP's and financial writing
  • Intellectual curiosity and supervisor research skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comfortable understanding financial structures and communicating effectively 
  • Able to prioritize and organize day
