POSITION: RFP Associate

LOCATION: New York, NY (Midtown)

OVERVIEW: Stable and reputable Asset Management company seeking a highly motivated RFP Associate to support the companies Proposal and Due Diligence team. The role is essential to facilitate the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing business company. This position reports to the Director of RFP's/Due Diligence. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage RFP/RFIs from beginning to end, meeting all deadlines and communicating appropriately with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for completing RFPs, DDQs and RFIs received by the sales team 
  • Interface with groups that provide data and insights in order to help answer questions more thoroughly (e.g., Sales, investment team, compliance/legal, trading, portfolio and
    risk analytics, etc.)
  • Complete various Compliance questionnaires (such as 15Cs) and populating and maintaining external consultant
    databases with quantitative data and qualitative narratives
  • Share company wins with senior executive, across the company and to relevant clients to enhance knowledge and communication 
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to craft compelling, accurate, and robust messaging / responses to questions  related to the Firm, its products, and processes
  • Complete both routine and customized/non-standard requests of various complexities, while following the process of the RFP team and adhering to the Company’s Writing Style Guide
  • Collaborate effectively across the Company to gather information and update/improve upon existing content
  • Present financial data for internal and external stakeholder reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 1+ years of experience in investment management or financial services 
  • Familiarity and experience with RFP's and financial writing
  • Intellectual curiosity and supervisor research skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comfortable understanding financial structures and communicating effectively 
  • Able to prioritize and organize day
  • Interest in Asset Management
