Recruiting and Diversity Coordinator
Location: New York, NY (Remote to start)
The Organization: Elite Law Firm
Summary: The Recruiting and DEI Coordinator supports the Recruiting and DEI Manager with firmwide execution of front-facing and external-facing diversity and recruiting initiatives (including but not limited to events, presentations, sponsorship opportunities, communications, etc); Plentiful opportunity for taking lead and playing a critical role in supporting the growth of the firm.
Salary & Benefits: Base salary to $85,000, plus generous paid overtime, Bonus, Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, competitive vacation and sick/personal days package, paid holidays, 401K, transit program and more!
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate the Firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs, supporting the Firm’s DEI Committee

Assist with managing internal DEI efforts via internal communications, programming and events

Prepare D&I surveys, award submissions, reports and other data for firmwide communications, meetings, and other initiatives

Keep up to date with trends within DEI; support with reporting on D&I metrics, measuring progress, strategy and effectiveness

Support with engagement and maintaining of relationships with law schools and law student groups throughout the year

Coordinate with team summer associate and recruiting events,

Assist on-campus interviewing (OCI); scheduling students and attorneys and carrying through the process

Gather and organize interview feedback and update into the ATS

Assist with firm-wide initiatives including health & wellness and diversity, equity & inclusion

Perform other assignments as needed
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred

2+ years of related DEI or recruiting experience; preferably in a law firm or professional services company

Knowledge of recruiting and diversity best practices

Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with applicant tracking systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgement, highly organized, and strong attention to detail are required

Must be able to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, and act as a team player
