Purchasing Manager
The Organization: Top International Law Firm
Compensation: Salary to $170K, commensurate with experience
Location: New York, NY
Requirements:
- Manage the procurement process
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing
- Serve as administrator for procurement software
- Ensure seamless communication with users
- Review all processed invoices to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify and source required goods
- Supervise the Purchasing team’s performance
- Provide support to team on workload balancing, performance feedback and training; ensure both short-term and long-term goals get appropriate attention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 8+ years of procurement or purchasing experience (with 3+ years of management)
- Experience using Coupa or a comparable procurement management software
- Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation skills
- Analytical Skills for strategic decision-making
- Procurement and Contract Management experience
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certifications in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus
