Public Relations Manager
LOCATION: New York, NY | Los Angeles, CA | San Francisco Bay Area
THE FIRM: Multinational law firm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use various media and tools to coordinate firm brand marketing
- Manage PR activities: respond to interview requests, prepare and facilitate partner interviews, draft firm press releases and provide guidance to firm staff globally
- Draft and oversee media materials including press releases, internal and external news announcements and media pitches that increase firm visibility
- Collaborate with practice leaders and serve as media spokesperson when issues or critical responses arise
- Guide PR agencies to enhance efficiency
- Implement a social media training strategy for attorneys
- Manage logistics for press releases and interviews
- Supervise global marketing efforts by establishing relationships across the firm
- Manage and administer the firm’s awards and survey submission program
- Manage the impact of the firm’s PR activities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of public relations experience within a law firm or professional services institution
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
- Experience negotiating contracts and with awards/submissions (ex. Chambers, Legal 500 and other lists/awards)
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent writing and editorial skills
- Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating and business needs
