Product Analysis Associate

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – Remote)

Summary: Seeking a Product Analysis Associate to provide excellent support with sales and marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for overseeing the competitive analyses, ratings, and rankings of various activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop quarterly Morningstar Presentation Studio templates in a timely manner
  • Organize and provide ad hoc competitive analysis focused on competitors for Intermediary and RIA Sales
  • Cultivate detailed analyses through blended and overlapped methods
  • Highlight industry asset flow information via Morningstar Direct by downloading, summarizing and distributing information on a quarterly basis
  • Utilize data and graphics that relate to firm Funds and Strategies, peers, indexes and other sources to aid in product presentations and marketing documents
  • Execute monthly competitor reports to sales teams and portfolio managers
  • Organize Peer Insight reports for the firm’s Funds and products on a quarterly basis
  • Weekly and monthly prepare Morningstar and Lipper ranking reports
  • Through the use of eVestment, Morningstar and Lipper rankings, load and check firm peer group averages for quarterly and monthly reviews
  • Provide custom rankings on a as needed basis

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in the asset management industry 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be able to utilize Morningstar Direct 
  • Familiarity with eVestment Analytics, Lipper and other asset management analytics tools 
  • Ability to use Confluence and/or product of Style Analytics is preferred
  • Knowledge of statistics, asset management operations and terminology
  • Proficiency with Power BI as a business intelligence tool is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products and Adobe
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills
  • Proven ability to organize and manage a diverse range of projects
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines (at times in high-pressure situations)
