Private Equity Paralegal (Entry Level)
LOCATION: New York, NY

SUMMARY: The Private Funds Paralegal must possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and the highest personal integrity. This individual will join a collaborative and involved team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the firm’s global private funds team
- Assist attorneys in all stages of private funds
- Assist attorneys and clients with compliance and investment matters
- Communicate directly with private funds clients and their investors
- Coordinate and support practice group training events, practice development initiatives and business development efforts
- Research topics related to private funds
- Prepare documentation for formation of corporate entities
- Coordinate filings with corporate service providers
- Develop and update content for internal electronic resources
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or similar preferred
- GPA of 3.3 or above
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency
- Ability to Maintain Strict Confidentiality
- Ability to Manage Time and Tasks Effectively
- Solid Interpersonal Skills
