Pricing Analyst

LOCATION: Seattle, WA  (remote to start)

OVERVIEW: The Pricing Analyst role is part of the Finance department and reports to the Senior Legal Project Manager. This role will support all aspects of full life cycle budgeting emphasis on pricing models, matter budgeting, and developing pricing recommendations. This is a highly visible role within the firm, supporting from a strategy and analytical perspective with collaboration amongst senior leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define pricing objectives that align to firm’ strategy and generate Pricing Policy Guidelines
  • Support the Pricing Team in defining and driving pricing strategies for the worldwide firm
  • Manage budget creation, monitoring, reporting and review
  • Responsible for Client RFP’s requests ensuring that the firm’s financial data is centralized and evaluated for completeness, uniformity, and consistency
  • Oversee matter databases and reporting; develop pricing proposals
  • Experience with implementing and managing electronic file cabinet for client documents; RFP’s MSA and SOW
  • Analyze client pricing and effect of pricing adjustments on the profitability of the client for both RFP’s and existing clients
  • Analyze and develop software Pricing Models. Experience in generating financial modeling and develop a worldwide profitability model
  • Ensure pricing compliance and review proposals with senior management
  • Analyze partner’s hourly billing rates to ensure compliance with the Firm’s pricing support strategic market pricing decisions
  • Develop various approaches to pricing firm wide that include comparables among client, teams, and partners worldwide
  • Responsible for ad hoc financial analyses as requested per the CFO
  • Experience working with internal worldwide resources to ensure that the pricing data represents accurate representation of engagement letters and or fee schedules from the client
  • Engage with Senior Management to identify key pricing issues for discussion with the Finance Committee

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field
  • 4+ years of finance, project management or legal roles within process management 
  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial or accounting reconciliation 
  • Exposure to SharePoint
  • Strong MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • MBA or JD is a plus
