THE ORGANIZATION: Mid-Sized Reputable National Law Firm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Firm premises are well maintained and in compliance with safety standards
- Routinely inspect office space for disrepair
- Coordinate necessary repairs, renovations and maintenance work
- Responsible for the planning, purchase and maintenance of office equipment
- Identify and resolve facility problems
- Manage space utilization, lease administration and other real estate related projects
- Lead and facilitate vendor negotiations
- Ensure that assigned office and desk spaces are setup properly
- Coordinate with IT on computer setups and other support departments
- Oversee all elements of Office Services team’s performance
- Assess and evaluate department procedures
- Recommend appropriate changes to department to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Oversee the maintenance, safety and functionality of the Firm’s premises
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors is required
- 3+ years of relevant facilities operations management experience in an organization with multiple floors required
- Proven experience managing and dealing with vendors
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize and work effectively with minimal supervision
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, firm management, and attorneys
- Able to use discretion and exercise sound judgment
- Able to maintain the utmost confidentiality
- Flexible to travel when necessary
