Marketing Director

THE ORGANIZATION: Mid-Sized Reputable National Law Firm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the Firm’s marketing strategy
  • Lead a dynamic marketing team
  • Create campaigns
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy
  • Oversee and maximize the implementation of innovative digital campaigns (SEM, SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing)
  • Monitor, evaluate and optimize campaign performance
  • Develop and oversee the Firm’s marketing budget
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and legal teams
  • Build, mentor and lead a high-performing marketing team
  • Manage media and community relationships for marketing related inquiries
  • Produce client-facing proposal materials
  • Conduct online and database research
  • Promote firm brand internally and externally through intranet site and external social media initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors is required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant marketing experience; 5+ years in a senior leadership role required
  • Proven experience in a marketing department with responsibility of oversight of at least a $20+ million marketing budget
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience leading/supervising others
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws
  • Able to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, firm management, and attorneys
  • Able to use discretion and exercise sound judgment
  • Able to maintain the utmost confidentiality
  • Flexible to travel when necessary
