Position Summary
A leading law firm’s Risk Management Department seeks a Litigation Docket Coordinator to support calendaring and docket functions across Litigation, Corporate, and Administrative teams. This role involves maintaining the docket database, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with court and agency rules.

This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring one day per week in-office, with additional days as needed. During training, availability on Pacific Time is required. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with flexibility for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Deadline review: Examine court, agency, and client documents for relevant dates.
- Docket entry: Calculate deadlines and input them into the docket system.
- Attorney support: Handle inquiries from attorneys and staff regarding docket entries.
- Rule maintenance: Update rule sets in docket software to reflect changes in court and agency requirements.
- Training: Educate attorneys and staff on docket policies and procedures.
- Court monitoring: Track electronic filings and ensure timely updates.
- Additional duties: Support related risk management functions as assigned.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Docketing software: Prior experience with automated calendaring systems.
- Court knowledge: Familiarity with federal and state court structures, procedures, and filing requirements.
- Communication: Clear and professional communication abilities.
- Organization: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Independence: Capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
- Technical skills: Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of calendaring experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Reports to: Senior Risk Management Manager.
