SUMMARY: Top-Ranked Law Firm is seeking a Trial Litigation Associate to join the Litigation practice group in their New York office. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, attention to detail and strong academic credentials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demand writing and negotiating
- Interacting with opposing counsel and external parties
- Trial work, taking and defending depositions and assisting clients
- Conduct research for cases
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD required
- 3+ years of litigation experience in a AMLaw 50 firm
- Trial experience required
- Licensed to practice law in the state of NY
- Desire to practice litigation and second-chair at trial
- Litigation exposure
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
