Legal Recruiting Specialist
LOCATION: New York, NY
THE ORGANIZATION: A Large International Law Firm

SUMMARY: The Legal Recruiting Specialist supports the Legal Recruiting and Development teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent proofing and communication skills, and a very strong attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the legal recruiting and development team, hiring partners and Recruiting Committee to develop, implement and manage recruiting strategies and programs
- Assist with on campus interviewing (OCI) processes, including scheduling and attending in-house debriefings, organizing debriefing materials, preparing OCI lists and OCI feedback forms, inputting OCI schedules, updating grade book, preparing correspondence and distributing invites and decline emails
- Supervise law student outreach
- Implement all aspects of the Summer Associate Program
- Source candidates
- Review candidate materials
- Process data entry of all candidates and maintain files and status during recruiting season
- Develop, prepare and analyze relevant reports, projections and statistical data
- Supervise department coordinators and assistants
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+years of related work experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Solid knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Office
- Prior experience working with ViDesktop a plus
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient at multitasking and able to handle time-sensitive projects
- Possess excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible in working overtime to meet operating needs particularly during the summer and fall
- Strong presentation skills combined with confidence and poise
