WORK ARRANGEMENT: Hybrid

LOCATION: Silicon Valley | San Francisco

SALARY: $126,000 – $189,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. Eligible employees may also receive a discretionary performance-based bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and execute the firm’s law student recruiting strategy across multiple office locations.
  • Manage all aspects of entry-level legal recruiting, including campus outreach, interview scheduling, candidate evaluations, offer processes, and post-offer engagement.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the annual summer associate program, including onboarding, orientation, training, work assignments, evaluations, mentorship initiatives, and offer recommendations.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to strengthen relationships with accredited law schools, student organizations, and diversity-focused affinity groups.
  • Coordinate on-campus recruiting events, networking opportunities, and employer branding initiatives to attract high-caliber legal talent.
  • Partner with hiring leaders, practice group management, and recruiting colleagues to support firmwide hiring objectives.
  • Support lateral attorney recruiting efforts by managing recruiting operations for associates, counsel, and other legal professionals.
  • Coordinate attorney job postings, candidate sourcing, interview logistics, offer processes, and recruiting communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with legal search firms, professional organizations, universities, and industry contacts to develop strong talent pipelines.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and prepare reports, workforce analytics, and hiring trend analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Legal Talent, Learning & Development, and other administrative departments to ensure successful onboarding and integration of new hires.
  • Stay informed on legal recruiting trends, compensation data, and market conditions to support competitive hiring strategies.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for recruiting coordinators and support staff.
  • Assist with recruiting-related marketing initiatives, website content, employer branding, and social media campaigns.
  • Manage multiple recruiting initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional service standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of eight years of recruiting experience, preferably within a law firm, legal services organization, or other professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing law student recruiting programs, summer associate programs, and lateral attorney recruiting initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans while managing multiple hiring priorities.
  • Experience partnering with attorneys, firm leadership, and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing recruiting professionals.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, recruiting databases, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of legal recruiting trends, talent acquisition best practices, and employment market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Flexibility to travel between office locations and accommodate changing business priorities as needed.
