POSITION: Legal Recruiting Coordinator

SUMMARY: Top-ranked AM multinational law firm is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to provide support to the Firmwide Legal Recruiting Department. The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will support hiring efforts for incoming and lateral attorneys, entry level and clerk roles, and provide assistance with the Summer Associate Program.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team with respect to on-campus, international lawyer recruiting and summer associate programs

  • Complete on campus registration forms, fees and firm marketing packages

  • Maintain/update on-campus recruiting calendar and confirm all hospitality suite events for designated schools

  • Assist with greeting applicants upon arrival and escorting them to interviews

  • Collect and enter interview evaluations for candidates

  • Maintain various Recruiting and Summer Committee distribution lists

  • Maintain and track all law school sponsorship requests and related follow up

  • Maintain spring initiative binders and process requests for designated schools

  • Process data entry of all candidates and maintain files and status during recruiting season; and generate all correspondence letters to candidates

  • Assist with planning summer associate and recruiting events, including research of venues, distributing event reminders, collecting RSVP’s, distributing tickets and preparing expense reports

  • Assist in information/record keeping for the Summer Program, including maintaining Database and Extranet forms, collecting and compiling data for the Summer Associate Extranet, maintaining and updating summer related lists, coordinating and updating the Summer Assignment/Work Report Database

  • Prepare bulletin notices regarding all summer associate announcements

  • Coordinate event invitations with Graphic Design

  • Maintain summer and recruiting budgets for Legal Recruiting Department

  • Assist with collecting and drafting summer associate evaluations

  • Track and maintain summer associate mentor activities including coordinating activities for mentors

  • Provide general data support for law schools teams throughout the year

  • Liaise with student groups and organize fireside chats

  • Assist with the LL.M recruiting process including sourcing resumes and office participation in the various job fairs

  • Assist other teams with projects, including Business Development and Marketing

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of law firm recruiting experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to interface, develop and maintain professional relationships with attorneys and staff

  • Ability to positively tackle problems, provide solutions and engage with others to ensure proactive steps are taken

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under time constraints

  • Excellent proofing, organization and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor
