Legal Recruiting Administrative Assistant

LOCATION: New York, NY

SUMMARY: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking a Legal Recruiting Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Legal Recruiting and Lateral Recruiting team in all administrative tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Lateral Recruiting
  • Track all logistics of events and collect feedback after events; update training materials on internal firm website
  • Assist the Director and department Managers with various recruiting activities and tasks
  • Prepare invoices for the Director’s approval and route to appropriate teams for processing
  • Review reimbursements from summer associates and attorneys
  • Prepare nametags for internal and external events
  • Update reports and materials on the legal recruiting website
  • Schedule exit interviews for summer associates
  • Deploy attorney training and development programs as assigned
  • Coordinate programs and trainings for multiple practice areas
  • Assist with greeting applicants upon arrival and escort them to interviews
  • Assist in the preparation of candidate and interviewer files
  • Collect and file summer associate departure memos
  • Coordinate with the Legal Recruiting team and assist in the logistics for the summer associate orientation programs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in a law firm environment
  • Experience with ViRecruit and Chrome River preferred
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required
  • Able to handle multiple projects and shift priorities
  • Able to work independently, as well as, part of a team
  • Flexible to adjust hours and work overtime as needed
