SUMMARY: Top-ranked AM multinational law firm is seeking a Legal Personnel and Recruiting Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Department. The Legal Personnel and Recruiting Coordinator will support all aspects of the law school recruiting program, summer program and legal personnel.


  • Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team with respect to summer and recruiting programs
  • Staff hospitality suites for law school recruiting
  • Plan recruiting receptions and dinners
  • Assist with greeting applicants upon arrival and escorting them to interviews
  • Collect and enter interview evaluations for candidates
  • Maintain various Recruiting and Summer Committee distribution lists
  • Process data entry of all candidates and maintain files and status during recruiting season; and generate all correspondence letters to candidates
  • Assist with planning summer associate and recruiting events, including research of venues, distributing event reminders, collecting RSVP’s, distributing tickets and preparing expense reports
  • Assist in information/record keeping for the Summer Program, including maintaining Database and Extranet forms, collecting and compiling data for the Summer Associate Extranet, maintaining and updating summer related lists, coordinating and updating the Summer Assignment/Work Report Database
  • Prepare bulletin notices regarding all summer associate announcements
  • Coordinate event invitations with Graphic Design
  • Maintain summer and recruiting budgets for Legal Recruiting Department
  • Assist with collecting and drafting summer associate evaluations
  • Track and maintain summer associate mentor activities including coordinating activities for mentors
  • Assist with the recruiting process including sourcing resumes and office participation in the various job fairs
  • Assist other teams with projects, including Business Development and Marketing


  • 2+ years of law firm recruiting, legal personnel and/or human resources experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Familiarity with ATS such as Vi or similar databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interface, develop and maintain professional relationships with attorneys and staff
  • Ability to positively tackle problems, provide solutions and engage with others to ensure proactive steps are taken
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under time constraints
  • Excellent proofing, organization and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor
