Legal Executive Assistant to the Partner

LOCATION: Boston, MA (Hybrid – Remote)

SUMMARY: Seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to join a Top-Tier Law Firm. The ideal candidate will perform administrative and secretarial tasks for assigned partners, other attorneys and the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle various administrative functions; coordinate incoming and outgoing phone calls, route mail, organize attorney calendars, file expense reports, and take ownership of travel arrangements
  • Create and organize various levels of legal and non-legal communications
  • Collaborate with Client Accounting to maintain accurate client billing
  • Responsible for new matter reports, updates and client/matter codes
  • May assist with attorney personal work when required
  • Develop and maintain strong collaboration with team members; showcase effective interpersonal skill
  • Must adhere to firm operation policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required 
  • 5+ years of experience in a role providing administrative support; legal/ law firm experience preferred
  • Maintain a very strong customer service mindset and attitude
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs such as, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Excellent work ethic and strong teamwork skills in a high volume, high pressure environment
  • Must be flexible, organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a calm, pleasant demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff and clients
  • Able to keep matters confidential
