Summary: Top-ranked international law firm is seeking a Legal Education & Development Specialist to serve as an integral member of the Firm-wide Legal Recruiting & Development Department. This role will provide support to legal education, engagement & development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and execute attorney orientation and professional development training (both in person and remotely via Zoom and other online platforms)
  • Provide administrative support for events and development programs
  • Support and coordinate the New Lawyer Training Program
  • Provide support with lateral attorney integration
  • Coordinate localized annual review processes 
  • Coordinate attorney office transfers
  • Analyze, organize and support local engagement needs
  • Support local and Firmwide diversity events
  • Update department documents on a quarterly basis
  • Process expense reports
  • Manage calendars for Attorney Engagement
  • Maintain attorney engagement-related initiatives on internal website
  • Deploy attorney training and development programs as assigned
  • Partner with members of Professional Development and Leadership Team where necessary to manage the continuous improvement of Attorney Training and Development Programs
  • Serve as training program and event support for all sessions as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a global law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required
