SUMMARY: Top-ranked, global law firm is seeking a Legal Content Specialist to support their esteemed Corporate Governance practice. The ideal candidate will be a practicing attorney or seasoned legal correspondent who is looking to parlay their skills to support the marketing and communications efforts of a rapidly growing practice. This role will be responsible to produce leadership pieces in collaboration with partners, provide content for various media streams and draft communications for the firm’s leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Corporate Governance group surrounding issues regarding legal updates and development within the global business environment

  • Collaborate with and assist the head of content in setting tone for marketing materials

  • Spearhead the strategy and development of the corporate practice’s annual governance survey

  • Generate leadership content for initiatives/practices

  • Draft and edit content

  • Maintain editorial calendar for client-facing feature publications

  • Draft video and podcast scripts

  • Draft speeches, talking points and other communications for firm leadership

  • Provide editorial support across the department

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; JD preferred

  • 3+ years of related legal research and editorial experience in a large, international law firm or legal publication required

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing emerging issues within corporate governance in a law firm or legal publication setting

  • Deep knowledge of the legal market required

  • Must possess superior writing, editing and proofreading capabilities

  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities as necessary

  • Flexibility to travel, as needed
